Regular meetings of Fellows living or working in the United Kingdom take place at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine, Limehouse, London. These last for a day, giving Fellows present or absent an opportunity to report on their work and including a talk or presentation during the afternoon, sometimes by a visiting speaker.
A group of modern religious and political historians meets under the aegis of the institute at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine every six months. This standing conference is led by Merrilyn Thomas, Philip Coupland (UK) and Katharina Kunter (Germany/Denmark).
