HUMANITAS is an open, international journal which presents scholarship, polemical and creative writing in dialogue. Since its first appearance it has featured the work of many striking and original scholars and thinkers, and it is now taken by academic libraries and private subscribers across the world.

HUMANITAS is published twice a year by the George Bell Institute at the University of Chichester, in April and October. Each edition is edited by Andrew Chandler and prepared for publication by Andrew Chandler (editor), Paul Foster (Arts editor) and Kadija Sesay (Reviews and Short Notices editor). Jan Ross is the copy editor.
